At First United Methodist Church (FUMC) we want to personally invite you to worship God with us. You will find many ministries designed to meet the spiritual needs of all ages and interests.
United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF)
For grades 6-12
Where Christian teens have fellowship and fun while learning about God, participating in missions and attending annual events.
HeartShapers
A children’s ministry for kids up to 6th grade. A variety of projects are done throughout the year with a special focus on the holidays. The children provide missionary services for local organizations.
Puppets for Christ
A ministry that shares a Christian message. Fun for all ages. Glorifying Christ in a unique and special way.
United Methodist Women (UMW)
Christian women’s group that shares fellowship, missions, crafting and much more.
Other women’s opportunities include Joy Circle, Lutz-Moore-Lockey Circle and Wynne-Trader.
United Methodist Men (UMM)
Christan men’s group that shares fellowship, missions and community projects.
Additional men’s groups include Men in Action —Christian men who see a need and get the job done.
Music Ministries
Includes our choir, praise band, Soul Cafe House Band, and all musical talents are welcome!
First United Methodist Church of Havelock supports such projects as the Food Pantry in Havelock (which support those locally in need) and our own Fish & Loaves, reaching out to those in the community with a meal. We also visit our local nursing homes twice a week; have a bible study class that meets at the church twice a week; support our active youth MYF and the preschool located at the church. We invite you to come and visit and stay!
